I have been eating at the Cochin for around 20 years. From my first experience I realised that the authenticity of the food was superior to other Indian restaurants and have remained a loyal customer ever since. The standard of food is consistently excellent and such a pleasure. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and their service is first class.

The food is by far the highlight
Eating in Colour A few of us meet up regularly for a catch up and a meal, we have visited a range of restaurants but always come back to this incredible restaurant. The staff, the decor, the ambience, the value and the location in the stunning Old Town of Hemel Hempstead are all perfect, however the food is by far the highlight of our frequent visits here. It is like eating in colour, in ultra HD, the range a depth of flavours are unlike anywhere else, even the ice creams are better than any where else

Would definitely go back again!
I am not normally an Indian food type of person. I usually eat a korma and that's it. But The Cochin has shown me that Indian food isn't all just about spice. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and they even offered recommendations for someone like me with a more sensitive nature to spicy food. Would definitely go back again!
